ESO Library
Our well equipped library provides access to all the resources our students will need for their osteopathic studies. From books to journals to educational DVDs to anatomical models, our students can utilise a wide range of high-quality scientific resources. This includes online access to Plymouth University’s library catalogues and e-learning tools (our partner university).
We also have a collection of mainly peer-reviewed journals in the field of osteopathy and manual therapy (students also have access to online journal articles in Science Direct and other additional digital databases through our partner universities). We have excellent links with with other osteopathic and health sector libraries enabling rapid document supply and inter-library loans of items not held at ESO.
ESO Clinic Library
Resources available at the Clinic Library include books, journals and models alongside access to the same online resources as at Boxley House, as well as study spaces and photocopying, printing and scanning facilities.
Books and documents can be borrowed from and returned to either site. Daily shuttles operating between the two sites, so items unavailable at one can be requested from the other site and will be available within 48hours. Both libraries are staffed.

Teaching Rooms
Our Boxley House campus has 5 teaching rooms, fitted with modern adjustable couches for practical classes and one room for theory lectures. Each teaching room is equipped with a variety of resources including audio units and ceiling-mounted projection.
Student Area
The communal areas provide the ideal atmosphere to socialise and relax, with a table tennis table, pool table, a football table, plus a large TV and games console. Here, treatment couches are also available for students to practice, outside of their timetabled lectures. Students can also take advantage of the vast grounds to play sports such as football and volleyball. During lunch breaks, some of our students like to go for a run along the public footpaths that cross the property. However, most prefer to stroll through the beautiful grounds.
Canteen
The campus also has a dining area and a canteen which offers freshly prepared food daily. Microwaves and fridges are also provided. Students enjoy eating al fresco in the summer months on the large patio area, with a pleasant view.
Parking and Bicycle Stands
A large, free car park is also located on-site for all staff and students. Cycle racks are also available.
